چکیده
Despite the abundance of palm-based residues generated, by-products from thermochemical processing such as bio-oil may create value-added products to palm industry. The derived contains high aromatic compounds, which are active ingredients in bio-pesticides formulation. Therefore, this study investigated formulation bio-pesticide and determines their effect on insect-pest oil Metisa plana walker bagworm. Prior formulation, preliminary evaluation compatibility between surfactants Tween 20 80 ingredient were evaluated using ternary phase diagram. results showed best is at 20% surfactant. Based these conditions, experiment was formulated an (AI) called azadirachtin extracted neem seed. tested for its effectiveness towards mortality that able repel 50% bagworm population, with a lethal concentration (LC50) 22.1 g/mL showing good indicator effective repellent. Hence, provided new knowledge waste management zero strategy better environment sustainability.

Oil palm ash (OPA), a bio-agricultural waste from oil palm mills, was subjected to high-energy ball milling for 30 h and was converted into a nano-structured material. The nano-structured OPA was characterized for its particle size and crystallinity index by using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis. The crystallite size obtained from TEM and XRD was foun...
